Laboratory presentation

Founded in 1991, the Law and Religious Societies (DSR) laboratory brings together the vast majority of legal historians and institutions working at the Jean Monnet Faculty in Sceaux. The research carried out there revolves around two major axes: the history of law and the institutions of the Church on the one hand, and the law of relations between religions and States, encompassing issues related to relationships between justice and religions. The DSR laboratory has a specialized library, the Gaudemet Le Bras library, which has 12,000 volumes excluding periodicals. He is currently developing an online bibliography of the history of canon law, Gregorius. This laboratory is backed by the M1-M2 "Droit des Libertés" as well as the DU "Gratianus", involved in a partnership with 18 establishments.The DSR laboratory has a specialized library, the Gaudemet Le Bras library, which contains 14,000 volumes excluding the journals.
This laboratory is backing two courses: the Master 2 Law and History of the Church as well as the DU Gratianus which is a partnership with 18 institutions.
